Palace of Fine Arts Swan Ill, Moves to SF Zoo for Care
Thanks to SF Gate for letting us know that the resident swans at San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts have been temporarily relocated to the SF Zoo after one of the waterfowl fell ill.
According to SF Rec and Park, swans Blanche and Blue Boy were feeling a little under the weather. In an abundance of caution, the swans at the Palace of Fine Arts have been visiting the SF Zoo veterinarian and will be enjoying Valentine’s Day as a couple under the Zoo’s care.
Blanche is a 25-year-old white-footed Polish mute swan, while Blue Boy is a 14-year-old mute swan.
