Pet Pride Day

Dress up your pet and head to the annual Pet Pride Day featuring on site adoptions, rescue partners, a parade, food, kids activities, pet costumes and, of course, pet tricks in Sharon Meadow in Golden Gate Park.

This is the San Francisco Animal Care & Control’s 22nd year celebrating the fluffiest-tail-wagging-feathered-scaled-finned citizens and the people that love them. On site adoptions, rescue partners, a parade, food, kids activities, pet costumes and pet tricks… they have it all.

2015 Schedule

• 11 am – 12 noon: Registration & Pet Costume Pre-judging
• 12 noon – 12:25 pm: Pet Parade led by Mr. Muggles’ Dogs
• 12:25 pm – 12:35 pm: Proclamation & Awards, Meet the 2015-16 Dog Mayoral Candidates!
• 12:35 pm – 12:55 pm: San Francisco Police Working Animal Demo
• 1:00 pm – 1:20 pm: DiscDoGG presented by Nor Cal Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital – Frisbee team
• 1:20 pm – 1:30 pm: Recology Super Dooper Pooper Scooper Kiddie Goodie Scramble
• 1:30 pm – 1:45 pm: Pet Camp Pet Trick Contest
• 1:40 pm – 2:05 pm: DiscDoGG presented by Nor Cal Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital – Frisbee team
• 2:05 pm – 2:20 pm: ACC Dating Game
• 2:20 pm – 2:45 pm: Pet Food Express Pet Costume Contest *
• 2:45 pm – 3 pm: Visit the Vendors

* Open only to dogs you have brought to the pre-judging area (next to the ACC tent) between 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
