From the Event Organizer

As a skate MC/DJ that specializes in old school funk and roller disco, the death of Prince is a very very sad day for me as it is for the whole world. He just performed at here in the San Francisco area a month ago. Whenever I need a song to start a skating frenzy on the hardwood, any Price song will make that happen.

This Sunday in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park we will continue our celebration of everything Prince on wheels at Skatin’ Place, 6th Ave and JFK Drive.

Photo is of the SF Roller Girls via the website White Chocolate Roller Skate with a little photoshop love to add a bit of purple to our lives. We don’t know if the Roller Girls will be there this Sunday, but they have often frequented the park.
