Thanks to KRON4 for letting us know that indoor retail resumes Monday in San Francisco.
It was mid-May that we reported that the city maybe just a few weeks away from the next phase of reopening according to the Mayor. San Francisco aims for the next reopening phase in 2-4 Weeks.
Well, the time has come! The City moves into the next stage of Phase Two reopening and for the first time in nearly three months, San Francisco stores will reopen its doors to customers (with 50% capacity limits) because starting today customers can shop inside their favorite stores.
Small, locally-owned businesses and larger retailers like those inside the Westfield Mall will be able to open on Monday.
KRON4 also reported Westfield Mall in San Francisco is requiring the following safety measures:
- Employees, shoppers with a fever or cold and flu-like symptoms must stay home
- Employees, customers must wear a face covering
- Sanitizer stations installed in common areas (Those areas will also be regularly disinfected)
- Signs reminding shoppers to social distance and showing CDC recommendations posted throughout the center
The mall will have modified hours, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The center will be implementing relevant government-mandated health and safety protocols. Read more.
