If you’re concerned about the supermarket running out of bread, never fear. You have a secret bread-Santa in San Francisco.

Thanks to Brian Lucas who let us know about this post from Fred McCord on Facebook that someone has helpfully stapled baggies of free sourdough starter to a pole in San Francisco. Oh, and he named the starter. Yes. The starter has a name and it’s, “Godrick.”
