Thanks to Broke-Ass Stuart for letting us know about San Francisco’s first outdoor-only barbershop. Introducing The Barber Collective at SoMa StrEat Food Park  (428 11th Street in San Francisco), SF’s first COVID-compatible outdoor barbershop with 20+ barbers.

Ever an innovative city, SF’s first outdoor barber shop is far from classic. Trims may be the mane attraction, but we’ve still got seating, restrooms, TVs, food trucks, a bar, and most importantly, fresh air and community vibes.

SoMa StrEat Food Park is growing in a new direction. Spending the last eight years celebrating cultural exploration through taste, sharing in food’s power to bridge cultural divides, and build community. It’s been a delicious ride, but our city needs more than a bite to eat right now.
