SF Had A Big Outage Impacting 911 Calls Today
UPDATE – 10:38AM: the SFPD Southern Station reports that the 9-1-1 issue has been corrected.
UPDATE – 9:55AM: Power has been restored and 911 calls are coming in normally. City agencies are working to bring all affected networks back online and restore regular operations. We will continue to provide updates as we have them.
San Francisco is experiencing an outage of unknown origin that is impacting 911, 311, and other City systems that was reported to have begun around 8:30am on Friday morning.
City agencies are investigating the outage and we will provide updates as we have them.
911 remains operational with limited capacity, please keep lines open and only call or text 911 for emergencies. Uncompleted calls will be returned by 911 dispatch.
