Want a Car-Free Golden Gate Park Every Day?

San Francisco Bike Coalition leading the charge to make GG Park more accessible to bicycles

Today, on April 16th, the Parks Commission is scheduled hold a meeting to let the City’s leaders know how important car-free spaces are for San Franciscans.

The SF Bike Coalition has gathered over 300 comments from neighbors and coalition members to provide public comment during the meeting.

For years, your San Francisco Bicycle Coalition has been working with key stakeholders including the Mayor’s Office on Disability, Recreation and Parks Department (RPD) and the SFMTA to dedicate more space in Golden Gate Park for people. With the determination of San Francisco Public Health experts that are making the JFK Drive permanently car-free during the Shelter-in-place.
