SF Giants Will Have “Fan Cutouts” in Empty Oracle Park
The baseball season is finally scheduled to be begin on July 23rd or 24th, but intially MLB will be playing in empty stadiums without any fans.
But the stadium may not be that empty after all. ABC7 reports that the Giants sent a letter to season ticket holders letting them know about the “Fan Cutout Program.”
Season ticket holders can send in their photo to the Giants and the team will create a cut-out and place it in the stands near their seats for free.
ESPN reports that non-season ticket holders can pay a $99 fee to have a cut-out in the stands.
The @SFGiants want to fill the stands with cutout images of fans since they can’t be there in person to cheer on the team amid the #coronavirus pandemic. https://t.co/7wZpTFYFTm
