SF Parks Release List of “Allowable” Outdoor Activities
In accordance with the health order from the San Francisco Department of Public Health, the Shelter in Place order was extended through May 31, 2020 but the following updates were made to help clarify which outdoor activities are / aren’t allowed in San Francisco currently.

— Athletics
— Badminton (singles)
— Throwing a baseball or softball
— BMX biking
— Canoeing (singles)
— Crabbing
— Cycling
— Exploring rock pools
— Gardening (not in groups)
— Golf (singles, walking – no cart)
— Hiking (on trails and paths allowing distancing)
— Horseback riding (singles)
— Jogging and running
— Kite boarding and kitesurfing
— Meditation
— Outdoor photography
— Picnics (with your stay-home household members only; picnic tables remain closed)
— Quad Biking
— Rock Climbing
— Roller Skating and Roller Blading
— Rowing (singles)
— Scootering (not in groups)
— Skateboarding (not in groups)
— Soft martial arts – Tai Chi, Chi Kung (not in groups)
— Table tennis (singles)
— Throw and catch an American mini football, Frisbee or Frisbee golf (not in groups)
— Trail running
— Trampolining
— Volleyball (singles)
— Walk the dog
— Wash the car
— Watch the sunrise or sunset
— YogaSkate parks and the Golden Gate Park archery field have reopened. Golden Gate Park Golf Course, TPC Harding and Gleneagles have reopened; others will soon follow.

Playgrounds, adult fitness areas, picnics areas, enclosed dog parks, and sports courts, including all basketball, tennis and pickleball courts remain closed.
Please remember to continue doing your share to help curb the spread of the coronavirus by:
- Adhering to social distancing guidelines (stay six feet apart)
- Washing your hands frequently
- Wearing a mask (recommended)
- Recreating only with people in the same household
