This week, the San Francisco Zoo celebrated the birthday of Gombus the chimpanzee in a unique way.
The Zoo surprised the male chimp with a Lisa Frank birthday party to celebrate his 36th birthday, complete with neon colored decorations, festive sunglasses and of course, delicious treats.
The Zoo tends to go all out for his birthday with different themes each year; in 2020, Gombus celebrated his 35th birthday with a Mardi Gras themed party.
