SF’s “Church of 8 Wheels” Indoor Roller Disco Reopens

SF’s legendary indoor skating rink, located in an old church, is back open.

Come join D. Miles, San Francisco’s Godfather of Skate at the Church of 8 Wheels and roll all masked up to the old school funk and roller disco. It’s lights  camera, action as you roll into the legendary funky good time that only the GodFather can provide.

The Church of 8 Wheels, located in the old Sacred Heart Church on Fell and Fillmore Streets in San Francisco, just opened this week after being shut down through the pandemic. They are currently open with a capacity of 20 people per session until the orange tier is established.

The “Church” is open Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. It’s $15 to enter plus $5 for skate rental if you don’t have your own. Skate sessions are typically 90-minutes to 2 hours, plus there’s a special “Learn to Skate” hour on Saturdays at 11am for $30 for adults and $20 for kids.
