SF’s City Hall Lights Up in Hogwarts House Colors Tonight (Feb. 24)
Tonight, February 24, 2022, the exclusive West Coast production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child celebrates the official opening at San Francisco’s Curran Theater (445 Geary St).
To mark the occasion, San Francisco’s City Hall will be lit up in Hogwarts House colors.
Also in celebration, Geary Street will close starting at 6 p.m. for a pre-performance Hogwarts House block party. Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, Ravenclaws, and Slytherins will gather in front of the Curran Theater for a special opening celebration featuring exclusive surprises, contests, photo opportunities, and special guests. San Francisco Mayor London Breed will also proclaim February 24 as “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Day” in San Francisco, plus make a special announcement on behalf of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child that will benefit San Francisco Bay Area youth.
