SF’s Easter In the Park & Hunky Jesus Contest is Back for 2022

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence have issued a “save the date” for the return of their annual Easter bash in Dolores Park for April 17th.

For the first time in two years, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the kabuki-inspired cross-dressing nuns-of-fun, are planning a comeback of their annual Easter Sunday in the Park at Dolores Park for 2022.

FREE (donations appreciated)

  • Children’s Easter: from 10am to noon
  • Easter Celebration: noon to 4pm (Hunky Jesus at 3pm)

The day begins with an Easter Egg Hunt, story time, and other fun activities for the kids at 10am.

Starting at 12pm, celebrity guest emcee, San Francisco’s iconic Peaches Christ, will host an exciting variety show featuring drag, live entertainment, and miracles as only the Sisters can perform. This year’s lineup includes Connie Champagne, Kitten on the Keys, Carly Ozard, Kippy Marks, a high-energy set featuring Nicki Jizz & the stars of Reparations, Oakland’s Rebel Kings, Katya Smirnoff-Skyy, star of The Voice and Misfit Cabaret Kat Robichaud, and many more!

Throughout the day the audience will take center stage as they show off their Eater spirit competing in the colorful Easter Bonnet contest, the Foxy Mary contest, and the highly anticipated Hunky Jesus contest at 3pm.
