SF’s Free “Mother’s Day Rose Show” Returns for 2022

Back for the first time in three years, the San Francisco Rose Society continues its tradition with the annual Mother’s Day Rose Show at Golden Gate Park’s Hall of Flowers with a rose showcase in the exhibition hall.

Exhibitors show their judged and award-winning garden roses starting at 12:30 pm until 4 pm.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to view the many types of roses, from hybrid teas, grandifloras, floribundas, polyanthas, shrub roses, and climbing roses; plus, oftentimes growers will showcase old garden roses from the 19th century.

FREE Admission – roses by donation

Treat your mom to a bouquet; many show rose bouquets will be available to take home for a donation to the SFRS after the show closes. Premium roses range typically range from $5-7 and sometimes around $10 for bouquets.

There will be rose arrangements and a rose photography show/competition.

Open to the family; bring your mom, cameras, questions, and a love of beautiful flowers.
