SF’s “Lighted Forest” in Golden Gate Park Closes March 6
No, really…. After multiple extensions, the San Francisco Parks Alliance assures us that Sunday, March 6th is the final night that you can experience “Entwined,” Golden Gate Park’s interactive lighted forest. Could it come back again later this year? We hope so! But as of now, this is your last chance.
UPDATE: Now we’re told it’s ending Sunday, March 6th as the final day.
In solidarity with Ukraine, the installation will feature a special blue and yellow display during its closing week.

Entwined, by San Francisco artist Charles Gadeken, creates a whimsical wonderland where visitors can explore twisting paths, colorful trees to sit under, large flowering clusters to run around and admire, and constantly changing vistas of light and magic. Inspired by nature, this interactive art installation connects and enchants visitors of all ages.
The light exhibit continued an additional month past its initial ending date. This past holiday season, the enhanced experience of Entwined included new sculptures, augmented technology, and an expanded layout to the delight of park-goers of all ages. Visitors turned out in record numbers to explore this latest iteration of the installation.
