SF’s Massive “Pistahan” Filipino Parade & Festival Back for 2022

The Filipino American Arts Exposition host the return of their in-person celebration for the 29th annual Pistahan Parade and Festival for 2022.

With the theme of “Homecoming: Reconnect with Our Roots and Community,” this year’s festivities will take place on Saturday, Aug. 13 and Sunday, Aug. 14, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. PDT each day at Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco. The Pistahan Parade will take place on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the heart of downtown San Francisco.

The free 2-day outdoor event is fun for the entire family and features hands-on and authentic cultural experiences in 8 pavilions: Art, Culinary, Dance, Health, Heritage, Innovation, Sports and Tavern. The Pistahan is a showcase of folk dance groups, variety entertainers, emerging talents and headline artists.
