You’re not allowed into bars yet, but that doesn’t stop The Riptide from having a little fun outside. The Outer Sunset bar (3639 Taraval St.) is selling drinks to go, plus having free socially-distant concerts from the bed of a pickup truck out front on Saturdays and Sundays from 5-7pm.

The bands are either couples or roommates, so they have been social distancing.

Just bring a mask, watch 6-feet away from others and bring tipping money for the band.

The Riptide offers hot dog and pizza meals with to-go cocktails (typically $8-10) and drafts ($6) – which come with a complimentary hot dog or pizza. Cocktail specials include I Dream of Jeanie (Gin-based w/ juices) for $8 and a Mermaid Mule for $10.

Other fun drink specials include mystery 6-packs of beer for $12 (one domestic, one import and bartenders choice for the rest).

Drink & food specials (and hours) may change each week. Visit Facebook for the latest updates.
