SF nightlife just got weirder. Ultimate Fighting Bots, the city’s “first robot combat league,” brought hundreds of techies, artists, and curious locals to the basement of “Frontier Tower” (a 16-floor private club/tech space lab at 995 Market St. (at 6th St., right across from The Warfield) for a cyberpunk-style robot showdown.

Piloted by humans but packed with personality, these humanoid bots punch, dodge, and battle it out in full boxing gear, clad in costumes, with backstories, and all.

Two events have already taken place this summer, selling out fast and going viral across social media. Attendees wandered neon-lit arenas, cheered for their favorite bots, and snapped photos in cyberpunk photobooths, all while DJs and robot bartenders kept the energy buzzing.

More matches are planned, promising even bigger production, crazier robots, and a unique tech meets nightlife experience that feels like part sport, part sci-fi adventure.

Looking to get in on the action? Stay tuned to social channels and event listings. Tickets previously cost $100 and included a plus-one, and with these events selling out fast, you’ll want to act quickly when the next date is announced.
