Shake Shack Opens Another New Bay Area Restaurant on March 16

The cult fav burger chain’s new Bay Street Emeryville location is its 3rd location in the East Bay and 11th in the Bay Area

Shake Shack is thrilled to announce it will open at Bay Street Emeryville on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 11am. The Bay Street Emeryville Shack will be Shake Shack’s third location in the East Bay and the 11th location in the greater Bay Area. This Shack will be a part of Bay Street Emeryville, a freshly reimagined and redesigned hospitality-focused experience organized in three city blocks of the vibrant Emeryville community. The new Shack will be located at 5614 Bay Street, Unit 240, Emeryville, CA  94608 with operating hours of 11 am – 10 pm daily.

To celebrate opening day, the first 100 guests will receive a limited edition Shake Shack tumbler. Additionally, there will be a public ribbon cutting ahead of each opening at 10:30 am for any guests interested in joining.

The Bay Street Emeryville Shack will feature all the classics, including the ShackBurger®, crinkle-cut fries and hand-spun shakes. The Shack will also open with some exciting limited-time offers from their White Truffle Menu, such as the White Truffle Burger, White Truffle ‘Shroom Burger, and Parmesan Fries with White Truffle Sauce. New limited-time flavors of Shake Shack’s beloved hand-spun frozen custard shakes will also be available, featuring a Tiramisu Shake and a Dreamsicle Shake.

The Bay Street Emeryville Shack menu will also star the Golden State Double, a regional menu item only available in the Bay Area. The double cheddar cheeseburger is topped with pickles and smoked garlic aioli and features 100% California grass-fed beef from Oakland-based Cream Co. Meats. Cream Co. Meats is an 100% natural whole-animal butchery and distributor for sustainable and regenerative ranches, and the only all-natural or better USDA butchery in the inner Bay Area.

As part of the company’s larger mission to Stand for Something Good®, Shake Shack will be donating $1 for every sandwich sold on opening day to Just Fare Community Kitchen, a non-profit contributing to ending food insecurity by making dignified meals to feed the East Bay Community.
