Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Says “Save the Date” for 2022 (Sept. 30 – Oct. 2)

Could Hardly Strictly Bluegrass be making a comeback for 2022? It looks very likely. 

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass has posted a lowkey update on the homepage of its website stating to “Save The Date Sep 30, Oct 1, & Oct 2, 2022.”

The free music festival is traditionally held on the first weekend in October every year, but was sadly canceled in 2020 and again in 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Last year, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass hinted at a possible return in an email announcement from June 8, 2021 stating, “Please check back on our site in the coming weeks as we will have updates on HSB 2021.” Unfortunately, the in-person festival was canceled, but the festival returned with a three-day virtual festival.

This might be the year the festival is finally back in person. Stay tuned.
