Considered one of the most prestigious cycling races in the U.S., the 2013 Amgen Tour of California (May 12-19) is an eight day race with 16 of the world’s top pro cycling teams competing on a course of nearly 750 miles up and down the coast.
The 2013 tour spends three days in the Bay Area, providing great views for spectators at Marina Green, on Mt. Diablo, across the Golden Gate Bridge and up close and personal in downtown Santa Rosa.
- Stage 6 – Friday, May 17, 2013 – San Jose (Individual time trial) – starts at 1 pm
- Stage 7 – Saturday, May 18, 2013 – Livermore to Mt. Diablo – starts at 11:35 am
- Stage 8 – Sunday, May 19, 2013 – San Francisco to Santa Rosa (Overall Finish) – starts at 8:15 am
At each stage, there is a Lifestyle Festival for spectators with cycling vendors, entertainment and food for purchase.
