“Twin Peaks” Historic Castro Gay Bar Reopens

Thanks to partnering with next door diner “Orphan Andy’s,” Twin Peaks reopens Wednesdays through Sundays

Thanks to SF Gate for letting us know that historic SF gay bar “Twin Peaks Tavern” has finally been able to reopen, with some assistance from next-door diner Orphan Andy’s.

Since bars are still supposed to be completely closed, only bars that partner with restaurants and require food to be ordered with their drinks are allowed to open.

Bar customers must order food from Orphan Andy’s in order to get a cocktail. Seating is limited to the sidewalk and Jane Warner Plaza.

SF Gate reports that Twin Peaks is open from Wednesday through Sunday from 1-8pm.

Please note details may change, and there currently is no information listed on Twin Peaks or Orphan Andy’s websites about this. The closest to a direct confirmation we could find was on Twin Peaks GoFundMe page where they mention, “we are opening for outdoor service soon.”
