Join the Berkeley Underground Film Society for another look at early silent and sound era cartoons at the second annual Cartoon Carnival & Stop Motion Sideshow from 7-11 pm on Sunday, July 14, 2013.

Enjoy a side show of colorful stop motion curiosities in an all new culmination of 16mm prints sourced from The Bray Animation Project, ATA Gallery, and other private collectors.

This is a unique opportunity to sit back and enjoy three reels of rare, very subversive early shorts from some of the most creative personalities in animated film history. The night will feature the works of: Winsor McCay, Wallace Carleson, Otto Mesmer, Walt Disney, Paul Terry, Otto Foky, Jiří Trnka, Norman McLaren, and others, all on 16mm film.
