Urban Hike Day

Get hiking, San Francisco… Three Parks, a Secret Slide & a Pub
By - posted 4/24/2015 No Comment

Urban hiker extraordinaire, Jill Katz, leads another exciting hike through San Francisco which will cover three city parks, beautiful views, a hidden slide and as always, ends with a drink at a pub. This is a long one, but she promises it will be well worth the effort.

Hike up Glen Park Canyon to check out the gorgeous vistas and cool rocks. As if that isn’t enough, you will then head east to find Billy Goat Hill Park. After that, you will wander through the Mission toward Bernal Heights. You’ll find the hidden slide on the side of Bernal Heights park before scaling to the top. This is an incredible view of the city. You will then rest your tired feet at a pub in Bernal Heights. Mmmm… beer.
