Thank you Berkeleyside for letting us know about a website that streams a live video of the line at the Rockridge Trader Joe’s in Oakland.

Do you ever wonder how long is the line at the Rockridge Trader Joe’s so that you know what you’ll be in for?

If you’ve found this project to be helpful, consider saying thanks through a donation. All proceeds go to the Alameda County Community Food Bank. Go Here to Donate.

Well, Rockridge TJ’s Line Watch has got you covered.  The website, set up by a regular guy who happens to live across the street (it’s not associated officially with Trader Joe’s) live streams the grocery line so you can check how long the line is before leaving your house. It shows you a section of the line that is typically about 10 minutes from the store.

The website states that their mission is to help people time their trips to the store accordingly to reduce crowding and time waste. They aim to flatten the daily TJ’s traffic curve to keep the community safer and saner during these unusual and uncertain times. Go Here to Watch the Live Stream.

The feed aims to be operational during Rockridge Trader Joe’s business hours (8 am to 9 am for elderly only, and 9 am to 8 pm for everyone). If this feed isn’t working and you think it should be, or if you have other problems or questions, send a text to 510-495-0854.
