That bastion of good info Yelp has done it again: the site somehow convinced a ton of museums, ballet companies, comedy clubs, and theaters in San Francisco, the East and South Bay to offer huge discounts for the week of February 21 to February 27, 2011 (and with some discounts lasting much longer.)

Full details are in this PDF of coupons and many discounts can only be redeemed in person

While there’s nearly 30 different coupons to choose from, we hand-picked eight of these that, we feel, are really worth it. See for yourself:

Walt Disney Family Museum
The Deal: 50% off general adult admission (reg: $20)
The Skinny: This brand new museum in the Main Post of the Presidio is worth the trip for anyone who’s seen a Disney film (that would be everyone, right?). The galleries are mainly chronological and go through important parts of Walt Disney’s life and his empire, like the move from short films to features, the wartime struggles, making art for the silver screen and more.
Print the Culture Club ticket sheet and submit to the ticket window for discount.

San Francisco Ballet
The Deal: Special price of $49 for Dress Circle seating (Reg: $62-82)
The Skinny: San Francisco Ballet invites you to either a matinee or evening performance on Saturday, February 26, for the special Yelp Culture Club price of only $49 for excellent Dress Circle seating at San Francisco’s beautiful War Memorial Opera House! Enjoy an exhilarating collection of three contemporary works: Possokhov’s Classical Symphony, Tomasson’s Nanna’s Lied and Forsythe’s Artifact Suite.

The Skinny: Check out what the Oakland East Bay Symphony has to offer in a truly unique venue: the fully refurbished Paramount Theater.
