Annual outdoor zombie film night and zombie fashion show

Zombie-O-Rama, the popular outdoor film night and zombie festival, returns to San Jose on August 21, 2013 with participating businesses around downtown offering specials and inviting zombies inside, followed by a free screening of Zombieland.

FREE, but bring canned food to donate (at least they requested canned donations in 2012)

2013 Zombie-O-Rama Schedule

2 pm – Face Painters – Get zombiefied at Heroes Martial Arts (460 S. Market St.) the block North of the park.

5 pm – SLG Art Boutiki’s Zombie Vendor Fair with comic books, haunt displays, Great America’s Hearse, prize wheels, Live 105 Radio giveaways, Popchips Katy’s Kettle Corn samples, gourmet food trucks (MoGo Mexican/Korean BBQ and Twisted Chill ice cream truck) and more.

5:30 pm – Young Zombies Parade (12 and under)

5:50 pm – Live music by Picture Atlantic

6 pm – Zombie Crawl: Groups leave from Gore Park and follow crawl stops on the map (groups leave every 15 to 20 minutes)

7:30 pm – Costume Contest – win $100 in gift cards from downtown restaurants
(sign up by 7 pm at the SJDA booth). Categories = best duo; group; female & male

8:20 pm – Zombie Fashion Show

9 pm: Free Screening of Zombieland
Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Emma Stone star in a comedy about a shy student trying to reach his family in Ohio, and a gun-toting tough guy trying to find the Last Twinkie and a pair of sisters trying to get to an amusement park join forces to travel across a zombie-filled America.

There will be food and/or drink specials at participating nearby restaurants for those in zombie attire.
