Event Details

Join them for a reception and talk with MoAD’s first Emerging Artist 2016-17 Nyame Brown.

Brown’s paintings and drawings in Classroom in Neveryon are opportunities to explore the concept of Diaspora as Trans-Atlantic, psychic, and imagined spaces. As a tool to combat racial oppression, He sees his blackboard paintings as a cultural production of the black community providing space to create a new black mythology.

Free but an RSVP is required.
