Clayton Pride proudly announces the return of the largest Pride Parade in Contra Costa County, taking place on Sunday, June 1 at 10:00 AM along Main Street in beautiful downtown Clayton.
This year’s theme, “Now More Than Ever, Love Matters,” underscores the event’s celebration of inclusion, community, and resilience. For the first time, the festivities will expand to include a vibrant Festival in The Grove Park, showcasing a dynamic celebration of LGBTQQIA+ pride and allyship.
Contra Costa Supervisor, Ken Carlson, will serve as the Parade Grand Marshal and keynote speaker to share inspiring remarks on the importance of acceptance and advocacy.
Former Clayton Mayor, CW Wolfe, will once again take the microphone as the parade emcee.
Generously supported by a coalition of Clayton residents, the Clayton Business and Community Association (CBCA), various churches, and businesses, the parade will feature colorful floats, captivating drag performances, live music, and more. In The Grove Park, festival goers will enjoy:
- A diverse array of information tables spotlighting East Bay LGBTQ+ resources
- Local artisans, student performances, and food vendors
- A dedicated Kids’ Area and a thrilling aerialist troupe performance
At its heart, Clayton Pride is dedicated to creating a city where everyone thrives as healthy, equal members of society. Through advocacy, community building, and education, Clayton Pride works to foster a culturally rich and inclusive environment for all.
Join us in celebrating love, inclusion, and community spirit at the 4th Annual Clayton Pride Parade & Festival!
