Climate Justice “Fast” Picnic at UN Plaza | Civic Center

On December 6th, the Sunday before the climate meetings begin in Copenhagen come to UN Plaza, San Francisco for an afternoon picnic without the food. We will have games, information, water, and music. Everyone is welcome to fast in solidarity with our climate justice fasters.

One of the long-term fasters, Tina Robinson, will be leading the activities. We shall get out the message about COP 15 as we enjoy a lovely Sunday afternoon.

Starting on November 6th with the end of the UN Climate Change talks in Barcelona, activists across the planet began an international hunger strike, The Climate Justice Fast. The Climate Justice Fast, spanning 22 countries, hopes the courage of our activists will inspire all nations and all global citizens to come together to equitably solve climate change.
