SFMade Week 2019 is the annual weeklong celebration that champions locally made products, their makers and their people.

The week features various events at local factories and retailers, including factory tours, demos, shopping.

Blufox, a line of alternative bridal gowns and women’s ready-to-wear pieces, along with a host of local designers and craftspeople will be holding open studios, pop up sales, and happy hour at 440 Brannan Studio Showroom.

440 Brannan Studio is a fashion incubator and boutique, and has been a fixture of SoMA’s “Garment District” for over 20 years. The studio houses 6 in-house designers who design and manufacture one-of-a-kind apparel pieces in-house. In addition, the boutique showcases items from over 20 local designers, from sunglasses to selvedge denim.

Please swing by for a glimpse of the design and development process of various fashion items, including jewelry making, silk screening, pattern making, cutting/sewing, etc.
