Come celebrate the 4th of July at the Third Annual Coast Guard Festival on Thursday, July 4, 2019.
There will be plenty of fun and activities for all. Choose from your favorite food truck while listening to live music from Roem Bauer and DJ Denova.
Alameda is honored to be one of 12 cities throughout the nation designated as a Coast Guard City.
Inaugural Coast Guard Festival
Thursday, July 4, 2019 | Noon to 4 pm
Pier 3 at Alameda Point, Next to USS Hornet
FREE (from what we can tell, there’s no cost listed for the event)There will have Coast Guard boats, history tents, and a Coast Guard helicopter and crew for you to take pictures and interact with, as well as a Search and rescue demo.
Don’t forget to stop by the kids zone for the obstacle course, giant slide, and other great activities.
Please note that schedules and activities may change. You never know when an actual rescue is needed so the hellicopter may need to fly away.
