Join them for dinner and a discussion into the fixes to Silicon Valley’s leaky pipeline happening right here in Oakland. As part of Tech Equity week they will be engaging in a screening of the documentary Code Oakland, and panel discussion on the need for computer science education in schools. The movie Code Oakland highlights the efforts currently happening in Oakland to make for a more diverse, inclusive and supportive tech industry. They will also have fun and engaging computer science activities for children aged 6-13.
