Using SCRAP magazines, paper, and found photographs students will be given guidance and instruction on repurposing found materials to create new portraits and landscapes. Mitsu will take students through the aisles of SCRAP and show them his process for choosing materials–tips and tricks for what raw materials work well for collage.

About Mitsu

Mitsu Okubo is a Californian artist who uses printmaking and drawing as a means to reconcile his failures as a stand-up comedian.
