Mingle and meet fellow art lovers and artists at our inaugural Collectors Soirée on Friday, April 23rd, 6-9PM at Voss Gallery!
RSVP to enjoy a special live performance by Elena Shirin as well as live painting by Steve Javiel and John Osgood! This COVID-friendly soirée will take place outside of the gallery. Masks are required and social distancing is enforced.
Wine generously donated by Old County Cellars.
Schedule of Events:
*6-7PM: Acoustic performance by Elena Shirin
*7-8PM: Intermission. Live painting by Steve Javiel & John Osgood
*8-9PM: Electronic performance by Elena Shirin
While the performance is going on we ask that guests remain outside of the gallery to abide by city guidelines. Guests are welcome to enter the gallery during the intermission from 7-8PM to view our current exhibition “Paradise,” featuring New Contemporary work by California-based muralists Amandalynn, Carly Ealey, Celeste Byers, Lady-Mags, Marley Sutter, Natalie Gabriel, Olympia Altimir, and ORLUarts that reflect on what a personal paradise can be during tumultuous times.

After playing her first solo tour throughout the US opening for Moon Hooch the Viennese vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, photographer and audio-visual artist Elena Shirin released her debut album “FROM A TO BE” with Motor Entertainment and received a magnificent national as well as international media response.
Her first three singles ranked #3 on the Austrian FM4 charts and was selected as the Fm4 Soundpark Act of the Month in May 2020. Elena Shirin receives over 8,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, hit 40k streams of her single IMPLODE’XPLODE and received several Airplay Rotations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, USA and Luxembourg.

Steve Javiel (b. 1981) is an urban impressionist painter based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA and participates in exhibitions along the West Coast.

John Osgood (b. 1977) is a contemporary urban artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. His work incorporates visual and stylistic elements of street art, graffiti, pop culture and cubism to depict the human condition. Osgood layers a combination of acrylic, aerosol, and oil paint on either canvas or wood panel to create his vibrant and textural paintings. This process-oriented approach mirrors the multifaceted nature of memory and the collective human experience. Osgood holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington State University with a minor in Fine Arts. He participates in exhibitions across the US and his murals can be found along the West Coast, UK, and Spain.
