SF’s Yerba Buena Gardens Festival 2026
The 2026 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival hosts a full lineup of free outdoor music, theater, circus, dance, poetry, and children’s programs. The Festival opens on Saturday, May 9, 2026 with Hermán Olivera y Orquesta Taíno to kick off its 26th season. The Festival features over 100 free performances from May to November in Downtown San Francisco.
With a powerful sound described as “dripped in soul, encased with sweet caramel melodies, tantalizing harmonies, and grooves as deep and rich as dark cacao,” Marcus Cohen & The Congress promise East Bay funk, a bit of jazz, and a healthy dose of hip-hop, celebrating their debut CD “Conversations.”
Lord Loves a Working Man puts on a raucous performance with a soulful/funkified repertoire inspired by the raw and emotive sound of 1960s Memphis rhythm and blues. Mixing originals with rare and obscure covers from a bygone day, LLAWM puts everything they’ve got into invoking the spirit of old soul music while giving it their own distinct voice.
