ConnectFest: Free Family Science & Music Day (SF)

ConnectFest 2025 features hands-on science and Grammy-winning music for families to inspire interest in STEM at San Francisco’s Children’s Creativity Museum.

Ten of the top science and technology centers will inspire families to learn about science. Meet Sequoia, a 37-year-old Bald Eagle, and learn about conservation; design and test a home to protect it against sea level rise; fly balsa gliders and paper helicopters; and explore the explosive power of solar flares, and more. Enjoy live music by the Grammy-winning Alphabet Rockers and DJ Lex.

Bring the entire family and dive into free hands-on science fun at ConnectFest 2025 outside at San Francisco’s Children’s Creativity Museum at Yerba Buena Gardens where 10 top science and technology centers come together to power STEM curiosity.

• Enjoy live music from the Grammy-winning Alphabet Rockers and DJ Lex who will bring their powerful music experience to ConnectFest during two sets at 11am and 1pm featuring songs created in collaboration with artists and children from around the globe. In between sets, the groove will continue with “The Boom Bap Specialist” DJ Lex.

ConnectFest is held in conjunction with the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) Annual Conference that brings together science engagement professionals worldwide. This event is funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.
