Event Details

Please join us at our next Conundrum Chronicles StorySlam April 14, 7:00 pm (The Marsh Theater– 1062 Valencia Street). Throw your name in the hat for a chance to tell a true, 5-minute story, about you, or be the judge… or kick back and enjoy the transformational power of live storytelling!

April’s Theme: “Loopholes!” We’ve all found them– those cracks in the rules, the fine print that nobody read, the technicality that changed everything. There are loopholes in the law, in relationships, and unwritten agreements… Maybe you found a loophole and slipped right through, or maybe someone used one against you. Let us know about how a loophole unleashed feelings of triumph, guilt, or rage…

Our Featured Storyteller, David Rodriguez, lives in Oakland California where he is the Education Director for St. Vincent’s Day Home, the nation’s oldest non-profit childcare center. He told his first story on stage in an attempt to impress his date. They are now married, though whether or not she was impressed continues to be litigated. He is also a two-time Moth GrandSlam Champion.
