The San Francisco Bay Bandits have been a walking club for almost 40 years and our walks always have interesting stories to tell, whether historical or legendary. On February 16 the starting point will be in the Randall Museum parking lot at Corona Heights Park, with magnificent City views.
This is a self-guided walk with route description given at sign-in and start time from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The walk will also take in Buena Vista Park, one of the oldest in the City, and continue through the Haight Ashbury, with it’s many tales!
After walking the east end of Golden Gate Park, from the carousel to the Conservatory of Flowers, and taking a peek at the USF campus, return to Corona Heights past some significant and beautiful S.F. Victorians. You may choose a 10K or a 5K version.
