National Geographic invites you to a free premiere screening of Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey at the California Academy of Sciences Planetarium at 5 pm on Tuesday March 4, 2014.

Free, but an RSVP is required. Admission is first come, first serve. Doors open at 4 pm.

In addition to viewing Cosmos’ first episode before it is aired for the public, you will have a chance to participate in a live-streamed Q&A at 6 pm.

Hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson and produced by Seth MacFarlane, Cosmos is a documentary series that explores how we discovered the laws of nature and found our coordinates in space and time. It premieres on FOX on Sunday, March 9.
