Pressure from body image expectations can significantly impact our self-esteem and mental health.
For the second installment of our Courageous Conversations with Impulse SF series, we are tackling body image in the queer community.
Why Are We Doing This?
At Impulse SF, we break down barriers, reduce stigma, and promote mutual support within our community. This is the starting step towards that.
Who Is our Speaker?
Our fabulous facilitator, Isaiah, holds an M.Ed in Higher Education & Adult Learning Theory. Isaiah is a mental health advocate with extensive experience in mental health, including eating disorder treatment and mental health education.
Where Is the Venue?
Plant Connections SF is a welcoming, queer-owned space that aims to reconnect humans with nature in the heart of San Francisco. Its cozy, inclusive environment is perfect for intimate and impactful discussions.
