An Opportunity to View Selected Books Outside the Cases
Members of the Hand bookbinders of California will present and discuss a few select books from this year’s annual members exhibition. Get up close and personal with the books in way you can’t through a display case. Binders will discuss the structures, materials and processes used to create their “masterpieces”.
Find out why working with the Pride flag was so difficult and how binders developed their designs. This is an informal talk welcoming questions from the audience as we examine each of the books outside the case. Its a great way for amateurs and professionals alike to learn more tricks and expand their bookbinding repertoire.
Joins us Saturday August 23rd at 4:30 pm. RSVP today, seats are limited.
Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
