Craft Bar with Etsy Labs & $1 Beers | SoMA

Create something wonderfully wooly at tonight’s Etsy Labs Craft Bar  from 6-8p at the Museum of Craft & Folk Art.

Jackie Huang, the artist behind the cute and cuddly critters  from Woolbuddy, will be teaching participants how to make wooly owls using wool roving, which the raw, dyed wool before it is spun into yarn.

Bring your own wool roving to get into this craft lab for $5 (it’s $10 without, though they do provide tools for free), and then spend your Thursday night sipping on a couple of $1 Trumer Pils and crafting your very own furry friends.
