“Craft Warriors” DIY Art Night & DJ Happy Hour | Asian Art Museum

Are you down with DIY? Are you ready for an evening that can only be described as Craft Wars meets Project Runway meets terracotta warriors?

The Asian Art Museum is open late on Thursdays for a fun happy hour art adventure – not only can you explore all of the museum’s galleries (including the new “China’s Terracotta Warriors” exhibit), but also join a team of artists to create some warrior art fashion of your own.

A team of artists will lead you on a project to construct your own handmade fashionable armor and accessories and plus modeling for the camera.

The galleries will be open, including terracotta warrior ones, for your viewing pleasure. Don’t forget to grab a drink from the bar, and enjoy tunes by Velvet Einstein who’ll be the DJ on deck.
