Event Details

In this first part of their two-part workshop, create a mosaic with colored adhesives and found objects. You’ll learn basic and essential mosaic techniques using tiling tools and precut materials. Please bring a few small, hard objects that you would like to use in your mosaic (buttons, glass, watches, jewlery).

Part 2, in July, will cover new techniques and the incorporation of different kinds of objects.

Kathleen McCabe-Martin has been creating mosaics for over 12 years. She has studied extensively at the Institute of Mosaic Art in Berkeley, Ravenna School of Mosaics in Ravenna, Italy, and studied with the famous Roman mosaic artist, Enzo Aiello. Kathleen creates murals, memorials, garden art, and ancient-Roman-style mosaics.

Free but an RSVP is required.
