Lyrical Opposition, along with The Urban Center, are proud to support the artist community in a new inclusive and unique collaborative workshop series. Based in San Francisco, the new monthly workshop series starts on Saturday, January 16, 2016, and runs monthly for six consecutive months. Over 50 artists in the past couple months have participated in Lyrical Opposition Workshops and Forums, with participants learning valuable artist techniques, strategies and empowering tools to add to an artists’ arsenal. The results; better written songs that resonate with listeners and development in other various skill sets.
This event is designed for connecting the artist community in the Bay Area through icebreakers, interactive dialogue, engaging lecture, writing sessions, and a cypher. They hope to create a space for discussion, strategic planning and networking of like-minded and creative individuals through collaboration through the arts and positively impacting our communities.
Optional: Please bring any writing utensil, notepad, and/or electronic devices to take notes on. Light Refreshments will be provided.
