The Zero Waste Fest 5k run tickets, raffle proceeds, and sponsorship funds will help us to further advance our newly formed Zero Waste Stations Pop-ups and help us develop community toolkits. These pop-ups, run by dedicated volunteers, have been a great success in many Bay Area locations such as Ocean Beach, Mission Bay, Dolores Park, and more. With the help of trained community organizers, volunteers sort their waste, learn about zero waste principles, and ensure that waste is diverted from landfills.
