Join MCCLA in its 29th annual Día de los Muertos exhibition “The Bones of our Ancestors: Endurance and Survival Beyond Serra’s Mission(s)” A protest of Junipero Serra’s canonization. This anticipated exhibition gives voice and makes visible the legacy of Native peoples during the destructive effects of the Missions system (18th-19th c). Curators Celia Herrera Rodriguez and Theresa Harlan. Speakers and special performances TBA.
