The Period Events & Entertainments Re-Creation Society (PEERS) presents A Dance of Ice and Fire, a grand costume ball inspired (unofficially) by “A Game of Thrones” and G.R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire.”
After a 7pm dance lesson, the celebrated Celtic Fusion band Avalon Rising plays an evening of vintage ballroom dance music – from waltzes and polkas through elegant and lively Medieval and Renaissance court and country dances (all set dances will be taught and called).
Fantasy or historical costume inspired by “A Game of Thrones,” or modern evening dress is admired but not required.
